About

Gorp is an asymmetrical co-op game that acts as both a puzzle and an action game. One player acts as the titular Gorp, a mutated fish who's stuck in the sewers, while another plays as Globbington, a sword-swinging octopus who he meets in his despair. Together, they must seek a way out via opening doors and staving off unfriendly combatants. Gorp was created over the course of a semester for Bradley University's Intro to Script Games class and was the first project I and many of my cohort had ever worked on as part of a team.

I worked primarily as a programmer throughout my time on Gorp, but the small size of the team required that I try a little of everything. I helped design levels, found and implemented sound effects, and made and implemented art assets. What's more notable, however, is that I worked on player movement, UI, and interactions between characters and the environment.
